Ventre Physical Therapy, Inc. is a privately owned physical therapy office specializing in manual physical therapy.  Our clients can expect decrease pain, improvements in alignment, posture, and balance, enhanced self awareness, increased energy and ease of movement.  We provide a nurturing, friendly atmosphere that promotes healing.  Providing superior care for each individual patient is our primary focus.

Treatment consists of one hour sessions starting with a full evaluation.  Beth Ventre, physical therapist and owner, combines the latest in physical therapy techniques with her continual learning process to ensure her patients receive the best in skilled care.  A holistic approach is used combining traditional physical therapy with manual therapy.  This approach will gently and safely addresses multiple body systems.  

      Beth Ventre grew up in Ansonia, CT and graduated from the University of Connecticut with a BS in Physical Therapy in 1982.  She then worked in a hospital, a sports medicine practice, an out patient manual therapy office called Regional Physical Therapy in CT, and now in her own practice in Wilmington, NC.  Her clients have ranged in age from infants to those in their 90’s.  During the 1990’s Beth also trained in Body Oriented Gestalt Therapy which teaches how the emotions affect the body.  She began teaching Muscle Energy techniques, Strain/Counterstrain, and Myofascial Release across the US and in Canada starting in 1992.

      In 1997 Beth moved to Wilmington, NC and began her practice, Ventre Physical Therapy, Inc.  in 1998.  She is currently teaching Myofascial Release.

      Beth is active in the Wilmington community and her hobbies include biking, swimming, kayaking, traveling and hiking.  She enjoys and is constantly studying in the areas of holistic health, alternative medicine, and quantum physics.
